The Professional Course provides a complete and deep photographic preparation dedicated to the ones who want to become professional photographers. The first year aims at providing to the students the technical and expressive capabilities to manage the photographic languages and equipment. The second years focuses on seminars to let the students develop the sensibility and the creative skills indispensable to create a personal style able to catch the reality and to traduce it in images. The subjects of the first year are: Photographic Technique 1, Visual Communication, Landscape, Portrait 1, Self-Portrait, Still Life and Digital Post-Production 1. The subjects of the second year are: Photographic Technique 2, Visual Communication, Portrait 2, Digital Post-Production 2, Digital Language, Polaroid, Fashion indoor and outdoor, Nude, Reportage, Project Realization, Professional Market and Self Promotion.

Didactics is based on a methodology created on the photography field, a method that begins in the classroom and moves onto sets, right through to the creation of a personal Portfolio, a vital visiting card to enter the world of employment.

Frequency and schedule: daily course

  • 1st year: 5 days a week, from Monday to Friday (Section A: from 09:30 to 12:30, until 14:00 for shoots. Section P from 14:30 to 17:30, until 19:00 for shoots).

1 year Master in Professional Photography

The master includes a complete formation on every discipline of modern photography. Students will learn techniques of still-life photography, of portrait photography and of digital photographic post-production.
The Master is composed by propaedeutic modules that will be audit on a precise order in a period of al least one academic year. To join at the Master students have to take an interview to verify technical-artistic capacity.
During the Master every student will create some personal portfolios; generally one for every photographic specialization.
Students graduated will have the certificate of graduation for the complete cycle of study and the certificate of every single stage frequented during the Master.
At the end of the Master to every student will be provided with all the information about his or her predisposition for the different kind of photography and the useful information about how to begin their photographic career.

The intern will collaborate with Corbis Commercial segment providing day to day support to Corbis sales representatives in this specific segment of research in which Corbis is most apt to meet the needs of a wide range of clients varying from Ad agencies to Key Corporations and Television Production Houses. Throughout the duration of the internship - three months - the winner will have the opportunity to learn about important image collections and will have the opportunity to experience the real world of communications in a dynamic avant-garde working environment. The intern will support the Media segment by assisting the sales force in researching images that best suit the needs of our clients for usage in periodicals, newspapers, and magazines. Photoshop CS3 course: digitising and elaboration of images

Location: Milan, Italy

Digitising of images allow a wide range of interventions, through the adequate software: retouching, correction and integration, special effects elaboration, setup of images, use of pictorial techniques. This course develops the learning of Photoshop tools, functions and fundamental procedures in relation with style and expressive potential, and in relation with possible applications in work-related areas and individual research. The course consists in 45 hours and the scheduled attendance is two times a week, from 6,30 pm to 9.30 pm. Lessons cover all the principal aspects related to digitising and elaboration of images, like formats, acquisition, tools, levels, filters and tracks. The program is part of the Creative Suite Adobe, integrated environment for planning, creation and publication of contents on different Medias: press, Internet distribution and wireless devices.
